可乐手机设计的核心是一块生物电池，在酶的作用下，它能将可乐和其他饮料转化为水和氧气，并在此过程中产生电力。设计师声称，这样的一块生物电池，每补充一次燃料 (饮料)，能获得普通锂电池充电一次4—5倍的续航时间。

据郑黛子说，除了可乐外，只要含糖份的汽水都可以作为能源。手机设计核心是一片生物电池，利用酵素把碳水化合物转为电力。用户只须把可乐倒进手机，便可 从其透明外壳，看到可乐转化为水和氧气的过程。 郑黛子表示，这款生物电池每补充能源一次，可持续使用时间较传统锂电池长3至4倍，有关科技亦正不断改进。据报道，日本有公司去年已推出Nopopo液体 电池，便是利用水、可乐、啤酒甚至尿液来发电。

24岁的郑黛子生于中国，16岁到英国伦敦攻读艺术设计，凭无限创意，成为英国著名产品设计师。据她在网站上的自我介绍，她对日常生活用品设计最感兴趣，喜欢给人新的体验和对身边的事物反思。

除可乐手机外，她为人津津乐道的创作还包括，把味道稍逊的健康食品“伪装”成受欢迎的垃圾食物，例如把西芹切条扮成炸薯条，把红萝卜削成香烟大小，再以 烟盒包装等。她另一个出色作品是一个半圆形的手袋，把手袋放在腹前再穿上外衣，可帮助少女伪装成大肚孕妇，免贼人抢手袋。

中国设计师Daizi郑创造了芬兰诺基亚品牌概念手机，可以由含糖饮料供电。

The music of shape and the design of sound are created in the M. Liminal model, designed by NYT Line and made by Fazioli. Inspired by the sea, the shape of the side evokes the profile of a wave while the black-silver colour that of a dolphin. The piano sits on a brushed-metal base encased in a natural wood, red, and black body. Portions of the piano are made with Plexiglas, like the cover stand and the music stand.
