When design innovator Herman Miller partnered with design phenom Yves Behar, sparks flew. The result, simply put, is a new way of looking at light. Leaf, a combination of LED technology, engineering and sculptural beauty, “is a fusion of technology with humanity,” explains Behar. Leaf’s design exhibits a thin profile resulting from a flowing, vertical blade that extends and swivels while supporting the blades for direct lighting or fold the blades for subtle, ambient light.

Leaf features the latest in LED advancements. “Leaf is designed to give the user a spectrum of choices to express light’s magical and sensory variations,” says Behar of the light’s ability to produce warm-to-cool colors with a simple touch control. It also engages the human senses by allowing the choice of the intensity and color of light which best suits a functional need, mood, or location.
